Hospice of Okeechobee
Hospice of Okeechobee relies on the support of the community to be able to offer the high quality patient care for which it is well known. Memorial donations and fundraising events help to support all hospice patient care, including services offered at The Hamrick Home.
Yard Sales are held at the Blue Volunteer Building, located at the corner of SE 4th Street and 3rd Avenue every two weeks. See events tab, Yard Sales for dates.
In 1999, Hospice of Okeechobee began a beloved Christmas tradition - The Festival of Trees. The community enjoys coming to the event to get into the Christmas spirit and take in the creative talents for which the people of Okeechobee are known.
The Boots & Pearls Gala started in 2006 and features live music, dancing and a live auction of work by local artist. The event has quickly become THE EVENT to attend in Okeechobee. Traditionally takes place in the fall of each year.
All funds raised at each of these events remain in Okeechobee and are used to support hospice patient care to Okeechobee's residents.
