Receives Highest Rating from State Agency

Hospice of Okeechobee is the proud recipient of a 5 Star Rating from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). The rating reflects the high quality care offered by Hospice of Okeechobee. AHCA utilizes feedback from families of hospice patients in developing these ratings.

Your Hometown Hospice received a 5 Star Rating in all of the categories which the state evaluated. AHCA looked at whether or not the patients were treated with respect by the hospice staff attending to them. Our hospice excelled in this regard. High marks were also given for the excellent care offered at night and on the weekends, the care offered by our CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), and the compassionate manner in which our hospice nurses kept family members informed of their loved ones condition.

Hospice of Okeechobee is the only local hospice serving Okeechobee. As such, we are able to respond quickly and thoroughly to any needs that our patients may have and this is reflected in our high ratings.
